Elena Lodi

Born in 1969 in Varese, Elena grew up in the Palazzo Estense where her parents worked.

The vast garden of the Palace is a tableau vivant made of delicate touches of shapes and colors that still fascinate it today....

She studied artistic and theatrical make-up techniques, which brought her closer to the world of colors and creativity.

Attracted by the world of fashion and leathers, she enters the sector as a shoe and leather goods saleswoman for 18 years until she becomes the manager of two boutiques in Lombardy and Tuscany.

In 2006, thanks to the meeting with Olga Berluti , she has the opportunity to renew her initial passion, that of color and she is offered the opportunity to create and research new techniques of patina on exotic leathers and not, within a prestigious Maison of luxury men "BERLUTI" , for which she directs the "Atelier" Finishing , research and creation , for 13 years .
In 2009 her curiosity led her to develop the tattoo technique on calfskin.
Since 2019 Elena is a freelance , in 2020 she invented the tattoo technique on alligator skin , she is the only one in the world to perform this processing .
To all her subject , she gives a touch of Light and Life with a particular techinque of vetrication .
Elena offers a personalised and exclusive tattoo and patina service , at the request of private and non-private customer , on footwear, bags , small leather goods ,  objects and interior furnishinng . She also collaborates with some fashion companies , for the training of finishing staff and also deals with research of materials and colouring techniques , prototypes and special orders.
